Here’s how travel and giving back came together to make a lasting impact.
Travel and Giving Back
Time flies when you’re helping people plan unforgettable vacations—and this past month has been one for the books. From holiday magic at Disney to a romantic proposal in Jamaica, and even a bucket-list stay in Switzerland, we’ve had the joy of creating memories for our clients that will last a lifetime.
But this month wasn’t just about travel—it was also about giving back.
🎒 Third Annual Luggage Drive: A Personal Mission
As a father of adopted children, this cause is deeply personal to me. My wife Mary and I have welcomed children into our home from the state, and many arrived carrying their belongings in nothing more than a trash bag.
It broke our hearts—and inspired us to act.
That’s when I proposed combining my passion for travel with helping foster kids. As one of the original founders and former president of Travel Advisors of Northwest Arkansas (TANWA), I suggested an annual luggage drive. This year marked our third drive, and I couldn’t be prouder.
Wish List Travel is proud to be part of this mission. Since all of our children have spent time at the NWA Children’s Shelter, we’ve partnered with them to ensure kids in foster care receive the dignity they deserve.
No child should ever carry their belongings in a trash bag. Thank you to everyone who donated and supported this mission.

One of our clients is planning a surprise proposal at this luxurious all-suite, all-butler, oceanview resort. With Jamaica’s only caviar & Champagne bar, it’s the perfect destination for romance.
🏔 Hotel Monopol Luzern – Switzerland
Another traveler checked off a dream stay at this 4-star palace hotel in Lucerne. Its Baroque façade, Rococo details, and copper dome make it one of the city’s most architecturally fascinating landmarks.
